Meet the Doctors


Dr. Frances Clairmont DMD

Dr. Frances Clairmont graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.  After completing a 2-year Residency program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, she accepted the position as Director of Ambulatory Dental Services at Carney Hospital and Section Chief of General Dentistry.  In addition, she was appointed Clinical Instructor in the Division of General Dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. In 1990, Dr. Frances Clairmont started what is known today as Abington Dental Associates, Inc. Her dream was to offer high quality dental healthcare to the families of Abington and surrounding communities in a gentle, caring and thoughtful manner. In order to accomplish her goal, she engaged highly qualified multi-specialists to work together in a state of the art practice for the benefit of the community.

Our Team has always strived to stay abreast of the latest technology and dental services. We offer same day Crowns (Caps); Electronic Records, where patient information and data ate completely confidential and protected; Digital x-rays and Panorex ; Intraoral Cameras; Soft tissue Laser Therapy; and Central Sterilization. Our exam rooms offer overhead monitors for viewing radiographs, patient education, patient photos, or watching movies or TV shows for the patient’s comfort and relaxation.  From the very beginning, our patients have always been our priority.

On her spare time, Dr. Clairmont  enjoys jogging and cycling.


Dr. Sean Collins

As a graduate from Boston University Dental School, Dr. Sean Collins provides a fresh, new perspective and skill set to Abington Dental Associates. Prior to obtaining his DMD Degree at B.U. in 2011, Dr. Collins received his B.S. Degree in Biology from Oakland University in Michigan. Dr. Collins completed an internship at Family Health Centers of Southwest Florida in Ft. Myers, Florida, which has contributed to his extensive postgraduate training and experience in all aspects of general dentistry. He is a certified invisalign dentist and has also completed training in implants, cosmetic procedures, periodontal maintenance (continuing care of gums) and root canal therapy. Since joining Abington Dental Associates in 2011, Dr. Collins has continued to gain knowledge and skill with many continuing education courses. Dr. Collins grew up in Clarkston, Michigan and moved to the Boston area several years ago. Although he is over 1,000 miles from home, Dr. Collins is still an avid University of Michigan football fan and watches all of the games. Dr. Collins' other interests include: watching movies, playing trivia and sports.

Dr. Collins is a member of American Dental Association. Massachusetts Dental Society and South Shore Dental Society.


Dr. Jaqueline Jacoboson

Dr. Jacobson joined Abington Dental Associates in 2012 and has made a great addition to our team. Having Dr. Jacobson in the office has allowed us to keep our patients needing endodontic care in an atmosphere they know and trust. We have found her patient care to be a great source of confidence and comfort for all.

Dr. Jacqueline Jacobson, a 1995 graduate of Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, has practiced in Massachusetts and California for the past 16 years. After receiving her degree in general dentistry, Dr. Jacobson continued her dental education at Boston University, earning both a degree in Advanced General Dentistry (1996) and Advanced Education in Endodontics (1998). She graduated from Goldman School of Dental Medicine with an award from the American Academy of Oral Medicine for achievement, proficiency and promise of Oral Medicine.

Dr. Jacobson began her career working in Newton/Brookline and the Metrowest region. In 2000, she opened her own practice in Newton and followed up by opening another practice in Marlborough in 2002. Managing her own practice has led Dr. Jacobson to build strong personal relationships with her patients and taught her how to take the fear out of Endodontics.

Dr. Jacobson continues to pursue continuing education courses to keep her up to date on the emerging trends in the dental field, which allows her to provide the best care possible to her patients. She is also a member of the American Association of Endodontics, American Association of General Dentist, American Association of Advanced Education in General Dentistry, Massachusetts Dental Association, Boston University Alumni, California Dental Association. Dr. Jacobson also is trained in Nitrous Oxide Administration, Microscopic and Surgical Endodontics, and Laser Dentistry.




Dr. Dong OH

Born and raised in Seoul, Korea, Dr. Don Oh came to  United States when he was 19 years old for his college education. He and his family knew they wanted to start a new life in the United Staes and that obtaining an excellant education was an important goal for Dr. Oh. After four years of college,  Dr. Oh was accepted to Columbia College of Dental Medicine in New York.  He knew he would be well prepared to give his patients the best care. After earning a Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) from Columbia, Dr. Oh pursued further training in a General Practice Residency at  Harvard School of Dental Medicine/Cambridge Health Alliance. Dr. Oh then spent four years in private practice in Cambridge,  before he moved to California for his Orthodontic training at University of the Pacific in San Francisco to earn his Orthodontic specialty certificate and MSD in Orthodontics. Dr. Oh loves to play cello, and most often enjoys going to  concerts at the BSO and Berkly.


Dr. Wanpeng Xu, DMD, MSD, PhD

Dr. Xu received his BDS from Henan Medical University , China in 2000. Upon graduation, he went to Hiroshima University, Japan for periodontal training combined with a PhD , majoring in tissue engineering in periodontal application. Dr. Xu then traveled to the United States and attended Boston University Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry and received his degree from the Goldman School in 2015. In addition to private practice, Dr. Xu is on staff at the Goldman School teaching periodontal residents for clinical surgeries, peridontology, and mentors master students at the Goldman School.

Dr. Xu conducted and continues to conduct research in tissue engineering. He is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, and a commitee member of the Massachusetts Dental Society.


Dr. Maria Liliana Gomez-Infante


Dr. Gomez-Infante received her dental degree from The Central University of Venezuela. In 1998, she came to the United States to attend Boston University: Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her D.M.D, as well as a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in Pediatric Dentistry. In 2000, Dr. Gomez-Infante was awarded with The Clinical Research Award.

Dr. Gomez-Infante has written articles published in the Massachusetts Dental Society Journal, and the Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She has been a faculty member at Franciscan Hospital for Children in Brighton, and has been in private practice for over eight years. Dr. Gomez is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), The Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Hispanic Dental Association.In her spare time, Dr. Gomez enjoys spending time with her husband and twin boys. She is also a huge Red Sox Fan!
